How does it work?
The light and dark details in an Illumi image are made from the same single-colour material. The light behind it creates the shades you see.
Thinner areas let more light through and appear brighter. Thicker areas let less light through and appear darker. Together, these differences reveal the photograph.

Before you customise
What kind of photograph works best?
Choose a sharp, well-lit, preferably high-resolution image. Faces should not be too small or lost against a very dark background.
Can I use portrait and landscape photographs?
Yes. You can choose either orientation in the configurator, then position the photograph within the correct proportions.
How accurate is the online preview?
The preview shows your crop, text position and an approximate lighting effect. Final tones depend on the contrast of your photograph and the ambient light.
Can the photograph be replaced later?
No. Illumi is a permanently assembled, personalised product, and the image remains part of it.
What’s included in the box?

How do I adjust the brightness?
A short touch on the aluminium back turns the light on or off, while a long touch adjusts the brightness continuously.
How long does it take to make?
Production usually takes 3–5 working days, followed by Sameday delivery time.
What happens if my photograph is unsuitable?
We check it before production. If it cannot be used, we will ask you by email for another photograph.
How do the warranty and repairs work?
In addition to the statutory conformity guarantee, we also assess whether later repairs are possible. Full details are available on the Warranty page.
